Dec 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) If Sarah Palin indeed ends up running for the 2012 U.S. presidential elections, it seems unlikely that she would have the support from talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. The iconic talk show veteran recently took a dig at former Alaska governor in an interview to a reputed magazine in which she claimed when it comes to voting for the Republican leader as the next U.S. President, she has full faith in the intelligence of the American people.
Despite the fact that Oprah Winfrey is known to have dodged questions about her take on the former Alaska governor, the talk show queen was quite candid in her interview to the magazine recently. When asked whether the thought of Sarah Palin running for the highest office scares her off, Oprah Winfrey added that it most definitely does not scare her as she believes in the intelligence of the American citizens!
Despite the fact that the talk show veteran was not quite encouraging when it came to Sarah Palin’s presidential bid, she had words of appreciation for the Republican leader as she reiterated that anyone who watches her reality show ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’ is sure to fall in love with her. Oprah Winfrey added that when she watched the first episode of the TLC show, she immediately liked the politician who was very ‘charming and likeable.’ The talk show queen’s disapproval for the presidential dream of Sarah Palin does not come as a bolt from the blue considering the fact that Oprah Winfrey is known for her unwavering support for the incumbent President Barack Obama.
