Ontario, NY man sentenced to 135 months for child pornography possession
February 10th, 2010 - 12:28 am ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )ROCHESTER, NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) – A man from Ontario, N.Y. was sentenced to 135 months, more than 11 years, followed by 20 years of supervised release for possessing of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Craig Gestring said on Tuesday.
Joseph Norman Hart, 48, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of child pornography last October. He was registered as a sex offender.
The defendant was arrested and admitted to possess over 600 images that he downloaded from the internet. This case is part of Project Safe Childhood.
Created by the Department of Justice in 2006, Project Safe Childhood protects children from online exploitation and abuse.
