One killed, three injured as ISAF helicopter makes hard landing in eastern Afghanistan
May 31st, 2010 - 2:28 am ICT by BNO NewsKABUL (BNO NEWS) — An MI-8 contract helicopter made a hard landing in the Jaji district of Paktiya province on Sunday, NATO-lef ISAF said.
A civilian on the ground was killed when he was struck by debris, and three crew members received minor injuries, ISAF added.
ISAF forces responded to the incident and secured the site. There were no reports of insurgent involvement, and the incident is currently under investigation.
