Los Angeles, Apr 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The tan Armani suit that O.J. Simpson wore the day he was acquitted, has been handed over to the Newseum in Washington DC. It would be on display as part of the “trial of the century”, according to the curator of the museum of news. The white shirt and the gold tie that was worn along with the suit, would also be a part of the display.

“For us, it’s a piece of news history that we will include in our collection of objects relating to the trial,” said Carrie Christofferson, who is the curator of the museum of news. He was involved in a lot of meetings and negotiations in the process of obtaining the ‘OJ Simpson’ suit for the museum. The suit was in possession of OJ Simpson’s former manager Mike Gilbert. He said that he would fly to Washington DC, and hand over all the clothes personally to the curator. He said that his basic aim in handing over the clothes to the museum is that, he wants the clothes to be a part of history, so that the people can remember the day, OJ Simpson was acquitted.

“I hope it will be displayed in a way that will help people ponder the legal system and celebrity. I’m happy that it will go somewhere where people can see it and remember where they were that day in history,” Gilbert said.
