boyJan 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A ten year old boy from Ohio was charged with murder of her mother, Deborah L. McVay, 46, in their Big Prairie-area home, that lies somewhere near Cleveland and Columbus. As reported by one of the neighbors, the boy suffered from some behavioral problems as he once fought with a bus driver, and also attacked his school principal, for which he was suspended from the institution.

After the boy shot down his mother, he went to the neighbors and said about what he has done. The neighbors immediately called up the police. Sheriff Tim Zimmerly came to the site and found that Deborah L. McVay was lying upside down on the floor of her living room. The police declared her dead, and stated that the boy fired a shot from a .22 calibre rifle tragetting her mother’s head. Deborah L. McVay’s body was taken to Stark County Coroner’s office, to conduct an autopsy. The boy also has a fifteen year old sister, who according to chief deputy sheriff Nathan Fritz, was present at home at that time. However, he is not sure whether she witnessed the murder. The police said that girl was the first one to run out of the house out of fear, and is currently staying with her relatives.

A source has reported that the boy appeared in the Holmes County Juvenile Court, where he was denied the charge of juvenile delinquency. Currently, he is being retained at the Richland County, under juvenile facility. Sean Warner, juvenile assistant prosecutor of Holmes County said that it is not a mere accident and there are no other apparent suspects in this murder case. The name of the boy shall not be revealed as he is still a minor.
