balloon boy FORT COLLINS, COLORADO (BNO NEWS) — A six-year-old Colorado boy who was said to be floating through the state on a flying saucer-like balloon was found at his home, said to be hiding in a box. But is that really what happened, or is there more behind the story?

The story was followed live on television and online by people around the world, only to find the boy safe at his home. But doubts emerged late Thursday during a live interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on “Larry King Live.” “You guys said we did this for the show,” said six-year-old Falcon Heene on CNN when asked by his father why he didn’t come out the box.

On Friday, a spokesman for the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department said they had scheduled an internal meeting for 8 a.m. local time to discuss the incident. The spokesman said the reason for the meeting was Falcon’s remarks during the CNN interview, and said doubts had emerged within the department.

No press conference will be hold following the meeting, but officials are expecting to release a statement.
