Off-Road Racer Nathan Woods Dies After Injuring Himself During Practice Session

Jan 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Off-Road bike racer Nathan Woods lost his life after sustaining severe injuries in an accident that took place during his practice session, reports have revealed. The unfortunate incident is said to have taken place at Honolulu Hills Raceway at Taft, California while the racer was practicing his moves when things suddenly went of control leading to the accident. The news of Nathan Woods’ demise has been confirmed through a statement that has been released on the official website of WORCS which reiterated that ‘off-road racing lost one of the greatest off-road champions.’
According to reports that have surfaced, immediately after the accident, Nathan Woods was airlifted to a nearby medical facility where he was pronounced brought dead. Initial reports suggested that the 32-year-old two-time WORCS champion breathed his last owing to some major head injuries but later it was reported that he ultimately succumbed to some internal injuries. The reports of the noted off-road bike racer’s untimely demise has sent shock waves among his fans with most of them scrambling the web to ascertain the validity of the news and get more details about the tragic accident that claimed his life.
Nathan Woods has been making headlines for his professional off-road bike racing career for nine years now while also reserving two WORCS championships (2004-05). The 32-year-old racer had recently signed a contract with the Stillwell Performance for its latest season and was, reportedly, involved in a practice session for the round of the WORCS series which is slated to take place this weekend when the accident took place.
