October is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Color the Town Pink!

Oct 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) October is the breast cancer awareness month and PPI is again painting the town in pink. The campaigning will start from October 1st till the 31st October throughout Elmore County.

The Price Publication Inc. has always made an effort to raise funds for breast cancer. PPI is sponsoring many events to heighten the awareness towards breast cancer.

Today many women are losing their cheerful lives to this dreadful disease. PPI is doing its best to open people’s eyes on the right time and make them aware about the concerned issue. The drive to generate breast cancer awareness will be open for this month.

The campaign stresses on early detection of this disease and on taking corrective steps. There are number of ways you can support the cause of coloring the town pink.

People can decorate homes and offices with pink ribbon throughout October. Employees can also hold a ‘Designating pink shirt contest’ in which the offices should designate the employees to wear pink any day of the month. Apart from these people can also ‘Participate in the walk’ in which they can hold walks to fight against Breast cancer.

This is the 25th year when American Cancer Society is spreading the message that early detection and prompt treatment can save a life.
