Washington, Jan 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) President Barack Obama’s former Chrysler 300 car has been offered for sale on eBay. The vehicle has an opening bid of $1 million on the auction website.

The car was placed on the website by Lisa Czibor. She has revealed that she has come under criticism for the asking price. Placing the asking price means nobody can bid below that price. Lisa says she is offering the vehicle for sale on behalf of another person. According to her, she is only interested in the commission that she is going to receive on the sale.

Some auto experts believe the vehicle will not be able to sell at that much price. Craig Jackson of the Barrett-Jackson auto auction company told CNN that “Maybe this car would be worth $50,000 to $100,000.”

Despite what critics believe, Czibor is confident that she will get a buyer. She told CNN that a vehicle once owned by Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently went on sale on eBay and managed to fetch a whopping £1.5 million ($2.4 million).

Pervious auto auctions have often failed to reach the $1 million mark. The hearse that carried the body of John F. Kennedy to the airport when he was shot was recently sold for $163,000 during an auction.
