June 25, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Deodhram Singh is a veteran NYPD cop. He has now been detained in Albany for stalking an 11-year-old and for questioning her on three occasions whether she desired to make cash.

The 38-year-old Singh chased the girl in his pickup truck on Tuesday. This terrified the girl. Every time he was adjacent to her, he emitted seedy queries. This data was divulged by the authorities.

The Albany Police department has stated that the girl ignored him when he initially asked her about whether she yearned to make cash. She walked ahead thinking his pestering has ended. However, Singh reemerged a few blocks later and popped the same query.

The girl, by this time, was in a state of dread. She found refuge in the dwelling of her grandparents nearby. While she was escaping to their dwelling, Singh again presented the same query. He also uttered a shady query about her youthfulness.

The fearful girl informed her grandfather that she was being pestered. The grandfather, in a state of enragement, took his car and hunted down the cop’s pickup. The grandpa appropriately scribbled down his license plate number.

Albany police personnel tracked down the tag number and finally caught Singh. The manacled Singh never mentioned that he was a cop. After his fingerprints were evaluated, the policemen understood what Singh does to earn his livelihood.

Singh was indicted with threatening the wellbeing of a child and second-degree pestering. After being brought before the Albany County court, he was rendered to the Albany County prison. Albany detective, James Miller, has articulated that the girl’s allegations seem to be bona fide.
