Four people were also injured in the tragic accident. The nun’s aide were among the people injured due to the accident in which the fleeing Chrysler Pacifica slammed into a Honda Odyssey and started doing a tailspin. Witnesses said that the scene was like an explosion and the victims were thrown into the air.

The two suspects inside the car fled the scene after the crash. The car was earlier stopped by police after the passengers and the vehicles matched the description of a wanted armed-robbery suspect.

The driver had surrendered but the two other criminals fled with the car and went on for nearly 18 blocks at the busy New York neighborhood of Harlem before crashing into the minivan. The police said that they were not chasing the car but witnesses have revealed that they saw an unmarked police car trailing by during the crash.
