Dec.09, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Recently a student of Northern Virginia Community College named Alyssa Brow,recalled the scary shooting incident that shocked the region on Tuesday. A man entered a classroom carrying a gun and tried to shoot the teacher who was teaching. The shooter reportedly stood next to Alyssa, an experience she is not likely to forget anytime soon. The shooter was later on identified as another 20 plus student named Jason Hamilton. Alyssa was speechless at the unexpected occurrence of the event and felt trapped. She recalled that Jason was not much excited or agitated when he was aiming at the teacher. Instead, he put up a calm composure. He was quiet and kept his focus on the teacher.

The teacher somehow managed to evade the first shot Jason had fired. She instructed the students to run and call the cops immediately. That made the dumbfounded students act sensibly and they followed her instructions. Alyssa manged to run to the hallway with her classmates and could hear another shot. She was sobbing inside as she thought the shooter had succeeded in killing the teacher. Luckily,Anthony Mellis, a campus cop heard the gunshots and smelt the rat. He reached the class room quickly and saw the student standing with the weapon in his hand. His report also stated that Jason was quite calm at that time.

The amazing thing is that the math teacher managed to survive both the shots fired at her somehow. She proved her presence of mind by saving the students. Brown expressed her thanks and gratitude for her teacher. Hamilton has since then been arrested by the Police.
