North Korean Leader Kim Jong II Detected With Pancreatic Cancer

It has been reported this morning by the South Korean Television that the North Korean leader Kim Jong II has been suffering from pancreatic cancer and may die soon. Reports of his disease has been coming up in almost regularly and this news is the latest attachment.
The information of his disease was delivered by unidentified Chinese and South Korean intelligence sources to Yonhap Television news. This news was also consistent with the report that came out in a Japanese newspaper in the weekend that the North Korean Leader has “serious pancreatic disorder” and was reconfirmed from the images that came out in television in North Korea last week that showcased the leader as fatigued and emaciated along with being slow in his feet.
kim Jong II was not seen in public for about three months in 2008 when speculations rose that he had suffered a stroke in august last year. After that, he was seen in an declining state of health as regular television footages came up.
Though the news has come up in the media many has slammed the news as a rumor. This is due to the fact that the news has affected the stock market as well. It has been said that it is due to the report of the leader’s dying condition that Seoul’s KOSPI was down by 3.5 percent. Lee Kyoung-su who is a market analyst at Taurus Investment & Securities have been quoted saying, “Speculations that Kim Jong II is suffering from pancreatic cancer has negatively affected markets…such news highlights South Korea’s geopolitical risks and the one thing that investors hate is uncertainty. “
