July 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The NOAA (National Oceanic And Atmospheric Administration) Storm Tracker is a latest state of the art application that helps track the incoming hurricane coming towards the US and Mexico. The application, which is available on the web, is highly anticipated by the iPhone users. Though there are several applications on the latest Apple gadget for tracking the storm, none of them are officially NOAA. The NOAA Storm tracker is one of the most reliable applications for getting the accurate data and report on the weather conditions that are prevailing around the country at the moment.
Another application that is available for the Apple users actually tracks updates from the NOAA is Hurricane tracker that shows the path and development of the Hurricane Alex but even that too is not the official NOAA application. Even ‘Weather Alert USA’ is available for getting weather updates from all across the nation. Though this application gives updates taken from the NOAA, it is uncertain how often it is actually updated.
As for the original NOAA Storm Tracker on the web, it is an application that does not require any download and can be accessed from the link on the official website itself. The NOAA Storm tracker takes in information from the ocean buoys and tide gauges, the latest high resolution satellite imagery and Doppler radar images of the incoming storm and allows users to follow the storm while surfing the web. The links on the official site lead to a small window that can be placed on the users browser. The users can get the latest and most recent update on the storm by refreshing the page of the NOAA Storm Tracker.
