Newlywed Couple Spends Wedding Night In Jail

coupleMar 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There has been certain instances where the bride and the groom have spent their wedding night in separate rooms due to certain differences or the other. However this time, owing to an untoward incident, a newly wed US couple spent their wedding night in different jail cells after the bride was arrested for attacking the estranged lover of the groom.

According to sources, 22 year old bride Marissa Ann Putignano, was reportedly arrested after she tried to run over the “other” woman and her son after her wedding with Timothy Keene. The victim, allegedly the estranged lover of the 37 year old Timothy Keene, told the police that both of them were involved in an intimate relationship. Sources reveal that the victim was leaving her work place and took a short cut through the car park when the newly wed-couple arrived at the spot. The victim told the police that Marissa Ann Putignano started hurling abuses as she spurred the car towards her. The couple were arrested later on.

As per the reports, the couple who got married at Barnstable Town Hall were high on alcohol. Timothy Keene was charged with “disorderly conduct” whereas his wife, Marissa Ann Putignano was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. She was also charged with damage of property after her vehicle hit a fence during the course of the incident.

The couple were then taken to the Barnstable Police Station, where they spent the entire night locked in two separate cells. The couple were later released on Tuesday.
