New York man arrested for watching porn in car
March 21st, 2010 - 2:59 pm ICT by BNO News ( 1 comment )BRENTWOOD, NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) — A 37-year-old New York man was arrested for watching a pornographic movie while sitting inside a car as a passenger, the New York State Police said on Saturday.
Trooper Michael Mangano was patrolling westbound Southern State Parkway center lane and observed a 2002 GMC Yukon XL in the right lane. Mangano looked to the right, police say, and observed the rear seat passenger watching television.
Mangano observed the movie to be pornographic and decided to order the vehicle to stop. The person watching the movie, identified as Gerald L. Williams, was taken into custody and charged with Public Display of Offensive Sexual Material.
He was released and is expected to appear in the Suffolk County 1st District Court on May 14 at 9 a.m. EDT.

OMG! What is wrong with people? Are we so screwed up that we have to arrest someone for watching porns in the back seat of a vehicle? It is way better than the guy raping someone. So lets give the impression of repression a little more, why don’t we? This country totally has there priorties messed up. OK, I could see if it was youth porn, then I would blame it on the media for not bringing this to point. Anyway, if anyone wants to watch porn on a small TV that can not be seen at 55 MPH by passing cars anyways, what right to we have to arrest them. I do not know who is most sick, the man watching the porn or the one imposing a law like this one. Give me a break!, let the guy go for God sakes. Everyone should just calm down and focus on real issues. This one is preposterous. HAH HAH HAH!
We seriously need mental help in this country, starting with our law makers.
