New $100 Bill To Be Introduced

bill3Washington, Mar 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A new $100 bill is going to be introduced the coming month in the market. The new bill has been devised upon in an attempt to deal with the counterfeiters who seem to be growing in the United States with alarming rapidity, according to the reports provided by the Treasury Department of the United States. The new bill is going to be unveiled to the general public in a ceremony on Apr 21, that will be held at the Cash Room at the Treasury Department itself. The ceremony will be presided over by the Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and the Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

The $100 bill is the one that has the highest value among all the currency used in the United States. Moreover, it is also one of the most widely circulated ones, all over the globe. Therefore, the step to ensure that no facsimile of the bill is made available was a necessary one. In fact, the unveiling of the bill is going to be the first of the many steps that the government will be taking in order to ensure that those using the bill do not face any problems.

The new $100 bill is going to be one of the many currency notes with anti-counterfeiting features that have been produced since 2003. According to the reports of the Treasury officials, the new note will feature the face of Benjamin Franklin, and also the picture of the Independence Hall, along with the engraved words “In God We Trust.” However, the background will have more colors than green. With the unveiling of the new design, the Treasury Department will also be launching a campaign to educate users of the bill.

    In god we trust? Really? It’s suppose to be a NEW bill, and yet they’re going to put a slogan on the bill which violates seperation of church and state, AGAIN. I know they’re not technically 100% part of the government, but they work for them, and as such should be bound to certain standards.

    This country was founded on CHRISTIAN values. If you don’t agree and live by that then maybe you need to go to another country where God is not worshiped. Our country would not be as strong and mighty without God…so yes, ‘In God We Trust’! If you don’t, LEAVE - you and we would be better off! God Bless you even though you don’t deserve it.     This country was not founded on christian values it was created to escape religious persecution. The crusades in which millions of Muslims were killed were founded by christian values. Most of the founding fathers of America (George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, Benjamin Franklin, etc.) were Deists. They believed that a higher power created the universe, but that God was unable to interfere with human life or the natural laws of the universe. They rejected all other supernatural events and held that truths were revealed through reason instead of religion. They were heavily influenced by and involved in science and philosophy. Deism does not fall under the umbrella of Christianity because it rejects the trinity of God, the divinity of Jesus, miracles, prophecy, etc. Christianity just ruins everything and is a condridiction of it’s self. No GOD didnt make this country strong, people with out the help of supernatural power made this country strong. You are obviously uniformed and believing fairy tales. It’s a good thing we are able to practice science or else dumbasses like you would have ruined the world believing that some mother goose tale can explain the creation of the universe. Don’t waste your time praying for me because im sure you and your church group are advocating the killings of homosexuals in Nigeria.

    It says “In God We Trust”, not “In God the Government Obeys” It violates no article or edict about separation of Church and State, it simply states what this country was founded upon. And to be truthful, if people stopped looking at themselves and looked to a higher power for their morals, then society, and in turn, it’s Government would not be as morally bankrupt as it is… Quarreling about why this “slogan” is placed on the bill is irrelevant. It doesn’t affect your life in the slightest, so why burden yourself? I say stop looking at these little, piddly issues that have no bearing on your life, and look to change something big.

    Why are the people who consider themselves “informed ” are also the ones who are the harshest towards those they deem to not be on their level. I’m not intelligent in the ways of a lot of religions, but I do see that anger and slander are great ways for your point to be lost. If you are so informed, then you should have no use for cutting down others, especially about their opinions, considering you freely express yours. That is what “One Nation, under God” represents…A democratic/ Republican mingling of ideas and cultures, to more fully allow you to become more wise, free of religious persecution. C murder, take you anger and issues elsewhere, It’s not welcome. Try teaching the rest of us “un-informed” about why you have an opinion that differs, and what makes it different without blasting us with the ridicule. It’s not appreciated.

    Gee, so much anger over the mere THOUGHT of removing “In God We Trust” from U. S. currency. I think it’s a good idea to remove it though. It makes sense to remove that phrasing. I mean, why should we, as a people, profess total and absolute trust in something that has no scientific proof whatsoever? To do so is just stupid.

    Christisnkilliaz! -first - please learn to spell! Second - what makes you the all-knowing purveyor (look it up!) of what the founders meant? How about the Declaration of Independence? It mentions GOD, CREATOR,and SUPREME JUDGE. Read it sometime and learn something! When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s “GOD” entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

    Some people will insist that the church and state are separate and should be so. But I notice that some people like to insist on this fanatically, as far as USA and Western nations are concerned, while they devotedly belong to a faith which makes it mandatory to mix religion and state into one, usually known as Islamic states and republics !
