Neiman Marcus Camaros Sells Out In 3 Minutes

car1Oct 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) One hundred of a special edition of 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertibles were sold out in 3 minutes yesterday. The vehicle was all sold after it was shown on a show on NBC. The Chevy Camaro convertibles were part of Neiman Marcus Book promotion. The phone lines were opened after the car was displayed on NBC’s Today Show. The car though will be made available to its buyers only in the spring of 2011 when it is delivered to the dealers. Till then they will have to wait for the gorgeous car. The car costs $75,000 each.

The new camaros will reportedly have a deep Bordeaux exterior along with ghost rally stripes. The windshields will be framed in matte silver, with the exterior color matching the fabric top. The units will be SS models with a 6.2 liter, V-8 engine and will have 426 horsepower. The car can reportedly go from 0-60 in five seconds. Owners will have the option of choosing between a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission model. The car is cool even in terms of safety. The vehicle will have side impact airbags and rear parking assistance with ultrasonic sensors. The car seems to be perfect in every aspect, right from it headlights to its tires, each and every part of the car has a distinctive look.

Inside the car the owner has the facility of staying connected with Bluetooth wireless phone and USB interface. The car is as cool looking inside as it appears to be on the outside. The interior highlights in the car include amber leather with red accents on the center console, steering wheel and shift knob.
