Lincoln, Oct 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 22-year-old man from Nebraska has been taken into custody by authorities after he allegedly subjected his girlfriend to the technique of waterboarding as he suspected her of cheating on him. The man was arrested by the authorities after his girlfriend Danielle Stallworth lodged a complaint with the cops after she sustained injuries on her arm, wrists and thighs due to the torture that was allegedly meted out to her by her boyfriend.

While recalling the horrifying incident, 22-year-old Danielle Stallworth told the police authorities that on Saturday morning when she returned home from work, her boyfriend Trevor Scott Case accused her of cheating on him and they ended up having a heated altercation. However, the tussle did not just end here as the man supposedly went on tie her hands and bound her to the sofa before stuffing her mouth with socks. Trevor Scott Case then allegedly had her head covered with a shirt and then poured water over her, in turn creating the sensation of drowning. Eventually, the woman was able to free herself and she ran from the scene while one of her neighbors placed a call to the cops after receiving text messages from her.

According to police authorities, the 22-year-old Nebraska man is now facing multiple charges of false imprisonment, making terrorist threats after subjecting his girlfriend to waterboarding as well as domestic assault. Trevor Scott Case is currently being held at Nebraska’s Lancaster County jail on a bail of $150,000. Police authorities have revealed that despite the multiple charges that has been levied against him, the man is claiming his innocence.
