It is a commendable effort as many have always been led to wonder, what had actually transpired behind the Alabama Teen’s sudden vanishing act so many years ago.

Natalee Ann Holloway (born on October 21, 1986) had disappeared on May 30, 2005, during a high school graduation trip to Aruba, which is a Caribbean country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The 19 year old teenager had just graduated from the Mountain Brook High School on the 24th of May, 2005. Her disappearance came to light when she was not found on board during her flight back home. The incident had caused a media sensation in the United States. Hundreds of volunteers along with the Aruban investigators had embarked on a thorough and extensive manhunt but it had not yet yielded any fruitful result. The case still remains unsolved.

It has been almost four years since then and after numerous desperate efforts by Natalee’s mother, Beth Twitty, the truth still remains shrouded in a mysterious and bewildering silence. The bereaved mother had even tried to cope with her grief by narrating the tale using her literary skills and had poured her heart out over the book titled as “Loving Natalee”.

Three young local men had been arrested three separate times, men in whose company Natalee was last spotted by her classmates. Jordan van der Sloot and the brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe had on all occasions denied having any knowledge of the girl’s disappearance. They claimed that they had dropped her off at her hotel. The three had to be released because of lack of evidence. Later however, a secret video had captured Jordan under the influence of marijuana, admitting that he had disposed off Holloway’s body. No legal steps had been taken against however, as he had vehemently denied all the charges later.
