Nashville, TN man sentenced for distributing cocaine

BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY (BNO NEWS) – A man of Nashville, Tennessee was sentenced to seven years and three months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine in Bowling Green, Kentucky, prosecutors announced on Thursday.

Troy Stockard, 46, and co-defendant Timothy Crutcher traveled to Bowling Green in an attempt to distribute approximately four kilograms of cocaine. Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Bowling Green Drug Task Force were already keeping tabs on their actions. When they tried to deliver the cocaine, the law agents arrested them. The four kilograms of cocaine are valued in approximately $80,000.

Crutcher has previously pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six years and six months behind bars.
