Washington DC, July 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Anne Frank House Museum has launched a graphic novel on Anne Frank. The museum is hoping to promote the life and times of the young novelist to a wider audience. There are still a large number of people who haven’t read her book, because they aren’t avid readers. So the museum is trying to lure them with a graphic novel.

The spokesperson of the museum Annemarie Bekker said that these days the teenagers have poor reading habits and are not reading a lot. So to tap into this group the museum is going to launch the graphic novel. She said that, “Not everyone has read Anne Frank’s diary. The mission of the museum is to make the life story of Anne Frank accessible to as large an audience as possible, especially the younger generations.”

The graphic novel was launched on Friday, and it is reported to be collaboration between the acclaimed author Sid Jacobson and the artist Ernest Colon. The duo has worked together in the past as well. Prior to the Anne Frank graphic novel they produced the ‘The 9/11 Commission Report’.

The Anne Frank graphic novel would be published by Hill & Wang in the US and in UK MacMillan would publish it.
