Murder suspect Joran van der Sloot arrives in Peru

SANTIAGO (BNO NEWS) — A Dutchman who is the prime suspect in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway and is being accused of murdering a young woman in Peru, was deported from Chile - where he was detained on Thursday - and arrived in Peru on Friday, media reports said.
Interpol in Santiago on Friday said authorities decided to deport Van der Sloot to Tacna, Peru, where he will be taken into custody by Peruvian police. Van der Sloot - while handcuffed - left the Chilean capital in the early morning hours aboard a military aircraft.
