Mumbai, Aug 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Dogs are commonly regarded as friends of men but through an incident that occurred in Mumbai, this statement has been proven wrong.

Mumbai dogs are alleged to have bitten men 200 times in a single day. This was a shame to the community at large because it is a rare occurrence for a dog to be such.

According to the statistics that were carried out in India, it was determined that the number of dog bites keep increasing year after another. This is a factor that has also been boosted by the increase of dogs which are roaming around the city.

The number of dogs which roam in the city has increased up to 150,000 from 2007. This is record that should be put into consideration and people in the city are now advised to be more careful with the dogs that are roaming around. Some of the dogs might not be medically treated and when they bite you the bites can result into a very severe case of injury.

Specialists have however taken the initiative to vaccinate the roaming dogs thus decreasing the number of deaths caused by dog bites. The dog expertise are now looking for more better ways that they can harness the roaming dogs and reduce the number of bites.
