Jan 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to a survey which was done on the habits of workers in Britain, the most stressful time of the week is not the expected Monday morning – back to work slump. Instead, Tuesday mornings at 10 am is said to be the most tense time for employees in the country.

Often workers are said to spend Monday catching up on the weekend’s gossip and sharing the experiencing which they had during their two days off. Emails are ignored, and work is put off until the next day. When it all catches up with them on Tuesday, their stress levels are said to peak, and reality sets in.

Recruitment agent Michael Page conducted the survey on workers who were between the ages of eighteen and forty five. It was discovered that it is usually around 10 am on Tuesday morning before those employees begin to look at the work which they need to get done, and catch up on everything they had put off the day before.

Page stated, “It seems our jobs are the biggest cause of stress in our lives - even little things like the computer freezing - is enough to get us worked up,’ said a spokesman for the firm.

Whether we feel over-worked, are neck deep in paper or just battling a to-do list which seems never-ending, we are all in in agreement when we hit our melting point.”

“It’s worrying such a large number of us are under so much pressure from bosses and there not being enough hours in the day that we go home and have an alcoholic drink to recover. But it is encouraging to see we are taking steps to improve our working lives, with people making it a New Year’s resolution to get out of their current job,” he added.
