More victims expected in the Missouri child rape case

Missouri, Nov 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There was a press conference by the investigating officials on the Missouri child rape case. The officials detailed the investigation done so far and repeatedly asked all the people who might have a missing person in their family to come across and submit their details to the police. When asked by the media that they were looking at missing persons in what age range and in what gender then the official said that all the individuals should come forward irrespective of age and sex.

He appreciated the neighbors who he said were very cooperative in the investigation. As of now, no physical search has taken place. The investigating officials have got some evidence items and are probing it for clues and other leads in the case.

At the press conference the officials said that they had enlisted the help of other agencies in this probe, as right now they haven’t got much specifics.

It may be recalled that, five members of a family, which includes a father and his four sons, have been charged in Missouri with sex crimes against children, including allegations of bestiality and forcing an 11-year-old to have an abortion. The five men who were arrested on Tuesday have been charged with several felonies, including forcible sodomy, rape with a child who is less than 12 years old and also the use of a child in a sexual performance.

The arrested people included Burrell Edward Mohler Sr., 77, of Independence, and his sons, Burrell Edward Mohler Jr., 53, also of Independence; Jared Leroy Mohler, 48, of Columbia; Roland Neil Mohler, 47, of Bates City; and David A. Mohler, 52, of Lamoni, Iowa.
