Moderate earthquake rattles the U.S. - Mexico border
April 8th, 2010 - 11:58 pm ICT by BNO NewsLOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) — A moderate earthquake rattled the U.S. - Mexico border on Thursday morning, seismologists said. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
The 5.5-magnitude earthquake at 9.44 a.m. local time was centered about 45 miles southeast of El Centro, California, according to the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center.
The earthquake was felt in San Diego, witnesses said.
No tsunami warning was issued.
