Missing teenager Norma Lopez may have been kidnapped

California, July 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Police say that there are searching for a 17 year old Californian girl - Norma Lopez, who was last seen leaving her school.
She left the school campus and that was the last time she was seen. Norma was expected to meet her younger sister and a friend at the friends’ home. However after waiting for two hours, the family started searching for her and after searching fruitlessly for her, they informed the police.
Police say they have found her some items that belong to Norma near her home and the scene suggests that there may have been a struggle. Police however failed to disclose the content of the belongings saying that it is crucial to the ongoing investigation.
Police say they are looking for the driver of newer model green colored SUV that was seen near Norma’s area where they believe she was kidnapped. They maintain though that the driver is not a suspect but they hope his information might help them to learn more about the disappearance.
When she disappeared, Norma was wearing a black and white stripe sleeveless shirt with dark blue tight jeans. Police describe her as 5 feet 7 inches tall girl and she weighs around 113 pounds.
The FBI has joined in the investigation into the disappearance of Norma.
