images3Nov 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 13 year old teenage girl named Sarah Maynard who had gone missing earlier this Wednesday along with her mother, brother and a family friend has been recovered on Sunday morning by the police. Sarah Maynard was found bound and gagged from a basement of a house in Mount Vernon. Matthew Hoffman, 30, who lives in the same street has been arrested in connection with this incident. The whereabouts of the other three person is yet to be known.

Knox County Sheriff David Barber has told that Sarah Maynard was found in a good condition without any fatal injury marks on her body. However her mother, Tina Herrmann, 32, is still missing along with 10-year-old Kody Maynard and the 41-year-old Stephanie Sprang. Authorities have found that the children had attended school last on Wednesday and that their mother Tina Herrmann too had not gone to Diary Queen on that same day, where she works. Officials from her work place had gone to her residence and had seen the lights on inside the house although nobody answered the door bell. Later on a manager of Diary Queen found blood inside the house on Thursday.

Sarah Maynard has been sent to the hospital for medical examinations and though the authorities said that they have questioned the girl about the case they refused to reveal facts for the time being. After her release from the hospital Sarah Maynard will be sent to live with her father Larry Maynard. As for the suspected Matthew Hoffman police said that they are trying to extract information out of him though the ‘weird’ man as claimed by residents of the neighborhood is not co-operating. Matthew Hoffman had earlier served prison with regard to an arson conviction.
