July 16, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Robert Olney, a 30 year old man gave himself up to the police in Little Rock after the missing Neb teenager resurfaced. Olney had apparently been travelling with the teenager. The FBI reported that the teenager had been found safe and sound.

An Amber Alert had been given out after the teenager had gone missing. The incident occurred on Wednesday and the Brown County Sheriff’s office sprang into action instantly. Sheriff Steve Hapner referred the media to the FBI for further comments. However the FBI declined to comment, saying that no further information was available. The Sheriff of Brown County cancelled the alert after the news of the girl being found was reported from Arkansas. The deputy Sheriff, Dan Johnson, stated that there had been at least 20 to 30 tips from the general public on the missing girl last Wednesday.

The law enforcement authorities seem to believe that the teenager along with Robert Olney was heading for New York or Alabama.

Melody Rose Martin, the fifteen year old teenaged girl was believed to be the one abducted. She is also known as Melody Gibbs in the neighborhood. The Brown County Sheriff had actually sent out the Amber Alert as he believed her to be in danger. She is a resident of South Ainsworth and the police have come up with the details of the car in which she had been traveling. The four door car was red in color and believed to be sporting New York license plates.
