abby A search and rescue crew has managed to establish contact with Abby Sunderland, a 16-year-old California girl. Well-wishers had dreaded that Abby had gone missing in the sea. However, her parents have, in a relieved state, mentioned that Abby is living and is in a secure condition. Abby had been endeavoring to navigate around the globe by herself.

A search squad had been initiated to track down Abby Sunderland, when she activated her crisis beacons. This was subsequent to her encounter with wobbly seas in an isolated space of the Indian Ocean.

Searchers on board a Qantas Airbus A330 witnessed Abby Sunderland’s 12-metre boat, Wild Eyes. They got in touch with her by means of radio towards the end of Tuesday. This data was revealed by her familial spokesperson, William Bennett.

Abby’s parents, Laurence and Marianne, who must have been massively distressed on learning about her encounter with nature’s unpredictability, are now in a reassured state. They inscribed on their daughter’s blog on Thursday night that the Australian search and rescue squad had informed them about their daughter’s safety. Wild Eyes was erect but her supports were functioning inadequately.

Abby’s parents have declared that a French fishing boat that had been rerouted to Abby’s whereabouts will, in all likelihood, reach its destination in a little over 24 hours. The parents asserted that they were unaware about where the boat will transport their beloved daughter or how long it will take for them to see her.

Teen sailor, Abby, embarked from Los Angeles County’s Marina del Rey on January 23 in an effort to become the youngest human being to cruise around the world unaccompanied without stopping. Her brother, Zac, momentarily possessed the record at age 17.
