Washington DC, Jan 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The US First Lady Michelle Obama created a buzz of sorts when she appeared in the public with her brand new hairdo. She was sporting a shorter, above the shoulder bob on Tuesday when she made an appearance at the funeral of Vice President Joe Biden’s 92-year-old mother, Jean, with Barack Obama.

Mrs. Obama tried to minimize the publicity of her new do by saying to the reporters on Wednesday that it was just “a little cut,” unworthy of being newsworthy at all. But it became news worthy item all right, with the publicity and the coverage that her new hairdo has got on the Internet.

Prior to this the first lady had grown her hair a bit and she mostly wore it in an updo, tucked under or pulled into a tight bun, since November. The First family had gone for a vacation to the Hawaii, and she had sported the same style on their return also, on 4th January. So perhaps the makeover happened between 4th of January and Tuesday.

Prior to this all hair had created a buzz, in the summer when she came at a country music performance at the White House with a shorter, sleeker look. There was a big hue and cry about her new look then also, but it was later revealed that Michelle Obama had just pinned it up and hadn’t gone in for a cut at all.
