Michael Ireland Gets $650,000 in Lap Dance Injury Lawsuit
October 16th, 2010 - 12:35 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonOct 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A man in South Florida got far more than he paid for when the lap dance which he had purchased ended in a serious eye injury, which landed the voyeur a six hundred and fifty thousand dollar settlement.
Michael Ireland got more than an eyeful-so to speak, when he was watching a performance by a lap dancer which he had purchased at a gentleman’s club located in West Palm Beach. The incident, which occurred in 2008, caused Ireland to suffer broken bones around the eye socket, and permanent double vision when he leaned in too closely, watching the stripper, named “Suki”.
The Cheetah Club decided it was best to settle out of court, for fear that a long and drawn out court case could end up costing more.
