Mercy Me, the famous christian pop band’s tour bus met with an unfortunate accident when a car crashed with it. In this bus-car crash tragedy at Fort Wayne Indiana, a woman and a man were reportedly killed.
Following this Mercy Me’s scheduled concert at the Six Flags St. Louis for August 8th was canceled as the band recovered from the ominous event.
” Our hearts break for their family”, “Please join us in praying for the families of the car that hit our bus last night” the band appealed via a website in context of those who had lost their lives in this accident.
Even though the band members came out uninjured from the bus accident a pregnant woman driving the car was taken to a nearby hospital. She (Kara Klicker 18 year-old) was in the third stage of pregnancy and her unborn baby perished and her condition was critical.
Authorities have refrained from naming the two people who were pronounced dead as their families were unaware of the event and had not been notified.
Passengers narrated the course of events at the tragedy to Fort Wayne police officer Liza Thomas who said that the bus was driving through a green light area when suddenly a car crashed with it at full speed which had taken an unexpected left turn.
Six Flags St.Louis Eureka Mo. said it would re-schedule the concert canceled for September 5th where the old tickets would be accepted.
The band had been performing in Parkfield View on Friday Nobody was injured and all the passengers other than the two dead came out unhurt. On July the band was ranked 9th on the Billboard Magazine’s Top Christian Albums list at number “10″.
