Twiiterverse, Oct 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Meghan McCain, the daughter of Presidential candidate John McCain has sparked off a huge debate over ethics and Twitter etiquettes after she posted a revealing picture of herself on twitter.

The picture is reflected in the mirror, and kind of tastefully done, too. She is seen holding an ‘Andy Warhol’ book and her ample cleavage is on display on the picture.

Her picture was critiqued and commented by a number of people, some of them whom appreciated her boldness and majority of them who make a big issue of it.

@Henrique wrote on Twitter, ‘You’re smart and gorgeous. don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. there will always be haters out there, so take a deep breath and move on.’

After a string of mostly hostile comments the 24-year-old Meghan McCain wrote: ‘so I took a fun picture not thinking anything about what I was wearing but apparently anything other than a pantsuit and I am a s***’

She added: ‘When I am alone in my apartment I wear tank tops and sweat pants, I had no idea this makes me a s***. I can’t even tell you how hurt I am.’

The blond got so worked up that she repeated her threat to delete her Twitter account - which is followed by nearly 60,000 people, before promising to ‘sleep on it’ and thanking a select few for their messages of support.

Later, she added: ‘I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic, I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended.’
