bullMexico, June 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Christian Hernandez who was a matador by profession fled for his life but was arrested by the police for the breach of contract that he had signed with the officials of the famous Plaza Mexico.

The now former matador Christian Hernandez, 22, was paid to appear for a bull fight at the Plaza Mexico on Sunday. Though he entered the arena and also held the red cape impressively at the beginning, as soon as the bull was let loose and it charged towards the matador, the latter got visibly terrified and left the arena by running away from the bull and leaping over the wall away from the sight of the bull.

As Christian Hernandez leaped out of the ring, the crowd booed and whistled, the organizers then tried to persuade the matador to enter the bullring for a second time but it seemed that bullfighting was the last thing that Christian Hernandez wanted to do for the rest of his life.

The matador came out of the bull ring for a second time before the beast was let loose by the organizers. After the incident, Christian Hernandez was arrested by the police after organizers alleged that he had breached the contract. However, he was released after a payment of a fine.

During a television interview later on Christian Hernandez said that “there are some things you must be aware of about yourself” and maintained that he had realized that he did not have the ability, the courage to stand in the bullring.

“This is not my thing” said Christian Hernandez who also declared that he has decided to retire from bullfighting.
