Massena, NY man charged with marijuana possession
February 24th, 2010 - 3:17 am ICT by BNO NewsMASSENA, NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) – A Massena, New York man was arrested on Tuesday for criminal possession of marijuana, New York State Police announced.
Wallace J. Mayette, 52, was arrested after troopers found 11.46 ounces of marijuana at his residence. The law agents went to his home to drop off a friend of Mayette who needed a place to stay.
When Mayette opened the front door to greet the troopers, a strong marijuana odor was emanating from the inside. After talking to the troopers, Mayette provided the drug to the troopers.
