Massachusetts Military Reservation building in Cape Cod collapses
February 17th, 2010 - 10:40 pm ICT by BNO NewsCAPE COD, MASSACHUSETTS (BNO NEWS) — A building on the Massachusetts Military Reservation on Cape Cod, Massachusetts collapsed on Wednesday, injuring two or three people.
The incident happened shortly after 9 a.m. EST, but details remain sketchy. Sources said at least three people were injured, including one person who was airlifted to a local hospital.
A Bourne Fire Department dispatcher said their units transported one patient from the scene, but said multiple departments are involved. Falmouth Hospital spokeswoman Robin Lord said one patient was transported there for evaluation.
A spokeswoman for the Massachusetts Military Reservation did not immediately return calls for comment.
