Massachusetts, May 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Massachusetts church is all set to launch a worship service for the man’s best friend - dogs. The service is going to be very aptly called “Perfect Paws Pet Ministry” and the Calvary Episcopal Church would hold it.
Officials of the church said that the move behind the service, is to ensure that they owners can take their well-behaved and well-mannered dogs to heaven. The church plans to hold the service on the third Sunday of every month. The church says the dogs will get a special treat and the service would be complete, as it would also have communion for the owners and blessings for the dogs.
The issue of barking during church service has already been sorted out already by the Church officials, who say that it’s the way the dogs will express themselves during the service. Rev. Thea Keith-Lucas said that the dogs would also have a say during the church service, as barking won’t be banned, now. According to reports services for other pets could also be held at the Church.
