May 22, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Numerous individuals are detained due to inebriated driving but, if you possess Kennedy as your surname, then it is indubitably going to make news. Something similar has happened to Mary Richardson Kennedy, wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. She was indicted with DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) on May 15 in the Westchester region of New York.

An official managing traffic for the St. Patrick’s School festival spotted her Volvo batter a curb near the school and, subsequently, stopped her. He observed signals of inebriation in her including her garbled vocalizations and the stench of alcohol.

Kennedy blood-alcohol level was greater than the lawful limit of 0.08. It was at 0.11 percent and she purportedly mentioned to the concerned officers that she was at the festival to pick up other persons. Her automobile was dragged from the landscape of the festival. The powers that be declined to provide any particulars about whether she was by herself in her automobile when she was detained or not.

Mary Richardson Kennedy is the daughter-in-law of the departed Bobby Kennedy, who was killed in cold blood in 1968, five years subsequent to his brother, John F. Kennedy’s cold-blooded slaying. Her husband, Robert F Kennedy Jr., is an ecological attorney, who functions in White Plains, New York.

The police personnel have journeyed to Kennedy’s abode twice in the last few days to scrutinize reports of domestic aggression. However, no police action was necessary in what seemed to be a family squabble.

She will have to come into view in the courthouse on May 29 though.
