A married Batavia woman who has been charged with adultery wants to contest the charge. Suzanne M. Corona said to the judge in the court that she wanted to ‘challenge the constitutionality of the charge.’

When she appeared in the court, then she shocked the onlookers because her husband accompanied her, and she didn’t enter a plea in court either. And if she is convicted of the adultery charge, then she would need to cough up a fine of $500 or remain behind bars for 9 days.

Suzanne belongs to Batavia, New York and she is the 13th person who has been charged with adultery in the history of the legal limits of New York. She was surprised at the adultery charge, because she said that it was a private matter between her and her husband.

The Celebrity divorce lawyer Raoul Felder also added that it is a private matter between the couple, and best solved by them. Felder also added that New York is one of the “rare states where it’s a crime” to commit adultery, and people can also be charged with the offense. Felder added that, “I don’t think they’ve had a conviction in probably 50 years. I sit across from the Palace Hotel and the criminals are hard at work.”
