Man wins his second lottery in Panama City

Panama City, May 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A man defied massive odds when he won the lottery twice. A Florida man who picked up $3 million in winnings in November again won $10 million on Monday in another lottery.

39-year-old Jody Massengale of Panama City was quoted in a Florida Lottery news release as saying that winning the lottery twice is “awesome.” His second winning came on Monday on the ticket of Billion Dollar Blockbuster scratch. He purchased the ticket for just $20. The report say Massengale collected the lump sum of his winning amount taking $6.5 million after tax deduction.

According to the reports, Massengale bought the winning ticket from the Express Lane in Panama City Beach. In the press release issued by the Florida Lottery, Massengale told the lottery officials that, “Winning the lottery once was cool, but to win twice, that’s just awesome!”

On the other occasion that Massengale won the game, he purchased the winning ticket from the Lagoon Mart in Panama City Beach. The first winning was made with the game $3,000,000 Monopoly scratch-off ticket. The winning ticket was purchased for $20 as well.

It is very rare for people to win the lottery more than once.
