New Britain, Feb 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 21-year-old man, Marc Higgins, has pleaded not guilty to the murder and assault chargers slammed on him after allegedly stabbing his friend and three others.

The incident was said to have taken place at a Bristol house party where Mr Marc Higgins was taunted over his flatulence. It is even reported that a woman who was among the guests in the house party even went to the extent of slapping Marc, who was ‘very drunk’. This and the ridicules allegedly pushed Marc to the wall and he left the house only to be back in less than 50 minutes with three sharp knives.

There was said to be a stampede but not until Marc had stabbed his friend, Mathew Walton and many others in the room. His friend was reported not to have died immediatley but eventually died some days later.

On being questioned by the investigating police, Mar Higgins, maintained that he is not aware that he killed anybody but kept saying that he was only angry and tried to show people that they should not be making fun of him unnecessarily.
