Kerby Revelus, 23, from Milton, MA, stabbed his sister Samantha, 17 and decapitated his other sister Bianca, 5. Another sister, Saraphina, 9, suffered stab wounds.

Cops arrived at the Revelus house barely a minute after they got a 911 call from Saraphina and knocked down the door upstairs to find Kerby Revelus with a kitchen knife. He grabbed his sister Bianca, 5, in front of the cops and beheaded her before they could react. He then tried to stab Sarafina. Samantha was already stabbed to death in the same room.

According to phone tapes in the house, the police had asked Kerby to stop and get down but when he did not listen, they shot and killed him. One of the officers rushed Saraphina out of the house while she bled and cried for her mother. The police were unable to provide any help to Samantha or Bianca.

The gruesome killings took place a day after Bianca’s 5th birthday. According to neighbors Kerby Revelus was depressed and had lost confidence since leaving prison. He had been looking for a job but his previous criminal record was a hindrance. He has been arrested in 2005 and 2007 for gun charges. Why he assaulted and stabbed his sisters is unclear. Neighbors said they were a solid family with nice children and honest, hardworking parents. Samantha, 19, was a high school student, well loved by her teachers and friends. She was in the honor roll and belonged to the Poetry Club and the Caribbean Cape Verdean Club. Bianca was the baby sister who was about to start kindergarten.
