Maine, Feb 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 64th annual Maine Lobster Festival will be held on August 2011. The city’s officials are working around the clock to ensure that the festival this year would be a success.

The organizers are urging all participants for this year’s program to show some enthusiasm about this year’s event. The organizers have created a website for the festival. The website has application forms for participation in the event. The website,

www.MaineLobsterFestival.com, offers free registration for people to participate in the event.

According to the program that has been made available to the public, the festival would start on the 3rd of August to the 6th of August. The climax of the show every year has been the parade. This year’s parade would take place on the 6th of August.

Last year’s parade was one of the biggest in the history of the festival. The sheer number of people that took to the streets in the parade gave the festival that year the tag as one of the most successful.

More information on the festival is available on the event’s Facebook page; www.facebook.com/mainelobsterfestival and of course the official website of the festival.
