New York, Nov 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Its Thanksgiving Day today and as per tradition the 83rd Macy’s Thanksgiving day Parade is going to be a riot of colors, floats, fun & merriment. Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade 2009 is going to herald the holiday season with thousands of giant balloons, floats and bands marching to Macy’s Herald Square. The start time for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is 9 am on Thursday. It is all set to include 8000 participants.
Macy’s 2009 Thanksgiving Day parade will of course have the best of the best, and that includes the top-notch marching bands of the US, performance groups, clowns, cheer leaders clowns, giant balloons, fanciful floats and the biggest celebrity of them all, the one-and-only Santa Claus.
The route for the traditional 83rd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is as follows. It will begin at 77th Street and Central Park West, marching South on Central Park West. It will then turn east onto Central Park South, instead of going down Broadway. When the Parade reaches 7th Avenue, the Parade procession will turn South at the corner of the Central Park South and march to 42nd Street. It will then travel east along 42nd Street from 7th to 6th Avenues. At 6th Avenue, the parade will veer South and march to 34th Street. At 34th Street, the parade procession will head west to Herald Square, ending at 34th Street and 7th Avenue.
However, the Macy’s 2009 Thanksgiving Day parade route will bypass Broadway in 82 years of history as it has done five times in the past, since its inception in the 1920s.

okay, i like the macy’s day parade and all but i would like it more if i could actually watch the parade.the whole entire time i don’t get to see the interesting things like the floats and balloons because all the people i don’t care about at all are talking too much. hence, i would like to see the actual parade instead of stupid reporters run their mouths for five hours.
