Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme released from prison

- WASHINGTON, D.C. (BNO NEWS) — Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, the woman convicted over the 1975 assassination attempt of President Gerald Ford, has been released from prison.
Fromme was released from the Federal Medical Center in Carswell, Texas early this morning after she served her sentence, a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons told BNO News.
Fromme went to a park in California, dressed as a nun and armed with a semi-automatic pistol which she pointed at President Ford. She was immediately restrained by Secret Service agents.
