Lost L. Ron Hubbard Materials Restored By Scientologists

Clearwater, Fla., Jan 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Church of Scientology received a breakthrough as more than 1,000 fragments of works of its founder L. Ron Hubbard have been revived at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, during the New Year’s festivities. The documents are being considered to be immensely significant as it is expected to shed new light in the understanding of the religion- as it consists of unreleased lectures and writings of the founder’s works.
The materials that have been collected are the result of a 25 year old project that was undertaken by the Church for tracking down L. Ron Hubbard’s works and subsequently restoring them. The new materials that have been discovered comprise of around 970 compact discs as well as 57 booklets. They are being sent to the Scientology churches all across the world. The ground breaking materials were found in bizarre places such as a basement in Witchita KS, a storage trailer in Phoenix and at a garage in Oakland, California.
Apart from the latest material that have been released, the Scientology founder’s work have earlier been released in 2005 and 2007, which consisted of improved editions of 18 basic Scientology books as well as other lectures of the founder.
Church leader David Miscavige has termed the recent materials as “renaissance” and has also emphasized that the new materials are a huge step for the religion.
L. Ron Hubbard was a science fiction writer who devised the religion known as Scientology, way back in the 1950s. Although the religion has been the subject of much criticism, over the years it has gained an unprecedented appeal across the world.
