New Haven, Nov. 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The death of Andre Narcisse, 19, who was found lifeless in his dorm by his friends, still remains a mystery. The sophomore student from Long Island (NY), was found at around 11 AM by his roommates, who immediately informed the concerned authorities. The authorities tried to revive him but pronounced him dead on the spot. The police, after investigation could not find the evidence of foul play. Andre’s body will go through an autopsy to understand the COD at the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office. Determining the COD could take up to 6 weeks, as toxicology test are awaited along with other test results.
Since the school year began, Andre is the second person to die after Annie Le was strangled in September and her body was found in her lab. Lab tech Raymond Clark III had been arrested as “a person of interest” in that murder case and will be appearing in court next Tuesday.
On Sunday night, Andre Narcisse’s friends gathered to remember the Yale University sophomore. A vigil was held by his friends who gathered to pay their respects and share stories about the deceased. The candlelight vigil was held at Brandford College Courtyard at the Yale university on Monday night. It was attended by more than 20 of his friends. His friend Alpern, 19, also his fraternity (Sigma NU) brother, said that “There’s one thing he loved more than anything else, and that was just people being together”.
Andre was a Philips Exter Academy graduate, and a varsity wrestler. The Haitian boy, was also a finalist in the National Achievement Scholarship (2008), and wanted to become a Wall Street Executive.
