Lip tattoo leads to a burglar’s arrest
May 24th, 2010 - 9:09 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattColorado, May 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A suspected burglar failed to cover his lip tattoo well even though he wore a mask and invaded a home. And his clearly visible lip tattoo through the mask has led to his arrest after being identified by a witness. The suspect, Anthony Brandon Gonzales was arrested last week. However police did not have look far for the suspect, as he was already in jail for drug offenses. Police say he will also be charged with the burglary. The burglary took place in April at the home of an Elvis impersonator in Pueblo County, Colorado.
Police say a witness distinctively identified the suspect, as the witness told the police that the suspect had ‘East Side’ tattoo on his upper lip. Police say Gonzales also has ‘13′ tattooed on his chin. The ‘13′ tattoo is shaped like a goatee and police say both tattoos were visible, even though the suspect was wearing mask at the time of the break in.
Police say Gonzales, 20, will be charged because of the evidence of the distinctive tattoo on his lips and chin.
